Refund & Cancellation Policy
Deposit Refund: The deposit is refundable up to 4 weeks before the course start date. After this period, it becomes non-refundable.

Full Payment Refund: Students are entitled to a full refund of the course fee if cancellation occurs up to 4 weeks before the course start date. For cancellations within 4 weeks of the start date, a partial refund will be provided, deducting the £600 non-refundable deposit..

Cancellation Deadlines: Refund requests must be submitted at least 4 weeks before the course start date to be eligible for a full refund. Requests made within 4 weeks of the start date will only be eligible for a partial refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.

Administrative Fees: An administrative fee of £100 applies for students who wish to defer from one course to another.

Course Deferment: Students may defer their enrolment to a later course date after starting the diploma, subject to availability and the terms and conditions. A £100 administrative fee will apply for the deferment. This deferment is applicable only if there are available spaces in the desired course.

Notification Method: Students must notify the school of any cancellations or deferments via email. This ensures proper documentation and timely processing of requests.

Special Circumstances: Exceptions to the refund policy may be considered in cases of terminal illness, loss of limb, or death. Appropriate documentation must be provided to support such claims.

Liability for Full Course Fee: Once the course has commenced, students are liable for the entire course fee, regardless of course completion. The CSSM reserves the right to take legal action to recover the full fee if payments are discontinued prematurely.

Attendance Requirement: A 100% attendance record is mandatory for the completion of the course. Students who miss any classes must arrange a catch-up session. This may involve attending another diploma course for the missed day(s) or arranging private tuition with one of the tutors at a rate of £30 per hour, payable directly to the tutor.
